MPSSAA Softball: Perryville Falls in State Semifinal

Perryville led entering the sixth inning, but Mountain Ridge rallied with two runs for a 4-3 win Tuesday, earning a spot in this weekend's Class 1A softball state final.

Perryville used three runs in the third inning to build a 3-1 lead, but Mountain Ridge scored once in the fifth and twice in the sixth.

The Panthers had the tying run at third and the go-ahead run at second base in the top of the seventh, but couldn't finish the rally.
