Shoppers Pray for Columbia Mall Shooting Victims: VIDEO

Some people prayed for the shooting victims' families, some thought of their own children, and some just wanted to show support for the community.

Exactly one week afterΒ shots rang out in theΒ Columbia mall, shoppers and friends of the two skate shop employees who died stopped what they were doing for a moment of silent reflection.

"We will come together in prayer over the victims, families, and the mall in general,"Β organizers of the SaturdayΒ prayer gatheringΒ wrote on Facebook.

Howard CountyΒ policeΒ said Friday there was still no motiveΒ in the double homicide on Jan. 25,Β afterΒ which the shooter,Β Darion Aguilar, 19,Β took his own life.

AΒ memorial has been placedΒ outside the Zumiez storeΒ where police saidΒ employeesΒ Brianna Benlolo, 21, and Tyler Johnson, 25Β were killed at approximately 11:15 a.m. on Jan. 25.

WBAL TVΒ said people distributed white lapels by the fountain, and the moment of silence was observed throughout the mall, recognition of the time the shootings began.
