Weather Call From Cecil County Public Schools For Monday, Dec. 16

CECIL COUNTY, MD — Students attending public schools will head to classes later than usual Monday in Cecil County. Authorities cited weather in announcing the delay.

School will be delayed by two hours Monday, Cecil County Public Schools Superintendent Jeffrey Lawson said in a statement Sunday night.

"Due to inclement weather, schools will open two hours late tomorrow with a modified preschool schedule," Cecil County Public Schools reported.

Here is the modified schedule for preschool:

• Morning session: 11:00 a.m.–12:50 p.m.
• Afternoon session: 1:50–3:30 p.m. (may vary slightly by school)

Due to the forecast for inclement weather, CCPS will start school 2 hours late tomorrow 12-16-19. More details forthcoming.
