Weather Call From Cecil County Public Schools For Monday, Jan. 14
BREAKING: Cecil County Public Schools issued a decision for Monday based on this weekend's snowy weather.

CECIL COUNTY, MD — Public schools in Cecil County will open later than usual on Monday, Jan. 14. Officials made the announcement Sunday afternoon, citing inclement weather.
Prekindergarten and preschool will be on a modified schedule.

- Morning session: 11 a.m.–12:50 p.m.
- Afternoon session: 1:50 p.m.- 3:30 p.m. (may vary by school)
Cecil County is under a winter weather advisory until 1 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 14.
A winter weather advisory means there may be travel difficulties due to snow-covered roads and limited visibility.

On top of the 3 inches of snow that fell overnight in Cecil County, the advisory calls for an additional 1 to 3 inches of snowfall, meaning there would be 4 to 6 inches of snow total.

Due to today's inclement weather, schools will open two hours late tomorrow with a modified pre-K and pre-school schedule.
