CCPS Updates Weather Decision For Tuesday Jan 9
BREAKING: Cecil County Public Schools changed an earlier weather decision for Tuesday, Jan. 9.

CECIL COUNTY, MD — Schools in Cecil County will be closed for students on Tuesday, Jan. 9. Cecil County Public Schools officials made the announcement about the closure after a previous decision to delay opening.
"After further evaluation of road conditions, it has been determined that schools will be closed for students and 10-month staff," Cecil County Public Schools said in a statement. "Offices will open at 11 a.m."
The closure comes after freezing rain Monday afternoon and evening in the region prompted many schools, including those in Cecil County, to close early.
