Weather Decision From Cecil County Public Schools For Jan. 8

CECIL COUNTY, MD — Cecil County Public Schools will open late Wednesday, Jan. 8. Officials announced the delay Tuesday night.

Schools will open two hours late Wednesday, according to Cecil County Public Schools officials.

Authorities cited weather conditions as the reason for the delay. Woodlawn got 0.4 inch and Fair Hill received 0.3 inch of snow, based on preliminary data submitted to the National Weather Service.
