3-Alarm Fire in Pikesville Reported

PIKESVILLE, MD – Fire broke out at an apartment complex in Pikesville Tuesday evening, according to Baltimore County public safety officials.

After 10:30 p.m., crews were working to extinguish the three-alarm blaze in the 100 block of Slade Avenue, officials reported.

Some residents were sheltering in place in the six-story building as firefighters worked to contain the fire on the fourth floor, according to officials.

After 11 p.m., officials said that the fire was under control and an MTA bus had been arranged to assist displaced residents.
