Planet Fitness Adding Randallstown Location

TIMONIUM, Md. (May 12, 2026) Planet Fitness – one of the nation’s largest and fastest-growing franchisors and operators of fitness centers with more members than any other fitness brand – is coming to Randallstown.

Franchisee Ohana Growth Partners (OGP) has leased 16,660 square feet of space at 8634 Liberty Rd., Randallstown, MD 21133 – the former Rite Aid store in the Liberty Court Shopping Center. John Schultz (H&R Retail vice president) represented OGP, while Keith Barnett (KLNB principal) represented the landlord, American Building Associates Limited Partnership.

With Gretchen Barker of MJM Architects as designer and CG Builders, LLC as contractor, construction is expected to commence by June, and the club is projected to open by year’s end.

It will feature best-in-class strength equipment, state-of-the-art cardio equipment, numerous flat screen televisions, a Black Card Spa® for PF Black Card® members, free fitness training included in all memberships, and additional amenities.

In 2025, OGP opened its Timonium club, joining Catonsville, Golden Ring, Towson, Perry Hall and Reisterstown in its Baltimore County portfolio.
