BALTIMORE—Art with a Heart –a non-profit arts organization based in Hampden, will host its annual Shop & Bop, Friday, July 29, from 5 to 9 p.m., at its social enterprise/retail store, HeARTwares (623 W. 34th St., 21211) in Hampden Village Centre.

Guests also can purchase one-of-a-kind artwork, jewelry, house ware items, garden ornaments and assorted gifts handmade by Art with a Heart program participants and volunteers.

All proceeds will support Art with a Heart’s Summer Job Program, now in its 11th year. Participating youth (ages 14-24) work at HeARTwares producing marketable art and receiving a daily stipend contingent upon attendance and timeliness. While gaining real job experience and compensation, the youth learn how to comply with rules and procedures of a jobsite, work in a retail store and interact with the public in a meaningful and appropriate manner.
