“As the daughter of a registered nurse and devoted advocate to workers’ rights, helping people has always been a priority in my life,” said Amanda Mummert, Foundation Director of the Brigance Brigade Foundation. “The quote ‘now that it’s all over, what did you really do yesterday that’s worth mentioning?’ has become a guiding principle in my life and I believe that same desire to help people and embrace life is demonstrated by the Brigance Brigade Foundation. I am extremely excited to join forces with O.J. and Chanda Brigance to equip, encourage and empower people living with ALS.”
Mummert has been a licensed practical nurse for over 10 years and has worked for nursing homes and nursing agencies in Pennsylvania and Maryland since 2005.
