An exciting, innovative way to advance future medical discoveries begins at Sinai Hospital.

Maryland’s Secretary of Commerce R. Michael Gill, Maryland Senate President Thomas V. “Mike” Miller, business leaders, medical experts, and President of Sinai Hospital of Baltimore and Executive Vice President of LifeBridge Health Amy Perry, were among the people who attended an open house at Sinai Hospital to tour and learn about the first hospital-based bioincubator in Maryland.

The Sinai Hospital BioIncubator is offering laboratory space to up-and-coming biotech and life science companies focusing on medical device and diagnostic work with the potential of developing clinical trials. The goal is to enhance health discovers and medical breakthroughs by having start-up companies and leaders in both medicine and science under one roof at Sinai Hospital.

In addition to laboratory space and expertise, tenants have access to common lab equipment, nearby treatment and conference rooms, and Sinai’s institutional review board and administrative oversight. Accelevir Diagnostics, LLC is the first company to lease space in Sinai Hospital’s BioIncubator.
