A Candid Conversation with Ben Cardin at Northwest Hospital

LifeBridgeHealth was honored to host United States Senator Ben Cardin for a special conversation on healthcare at Northwest Hospital last Monday.

About 50 people gathered to hear Senator Cardin speak about affordable healthcare, one of the issues he considers a top priority. He also addressed the cost of prescription drugs and then took questions from the audience.

In addition to healthcare, the discussion covered a lot of topics including the gridlock in Washington and the role of each person to make sure the news stories they see, hear and read are fact-based.

Among those in the on hand for Senator Cardin’s visit were Faraaz Yousuf, president and COO of Northwest Hospital, Northwest Hospital board members, the hospital’s management council, physicians and employees as well as the business community.
