I commute to my job on the Beltway, and several times over the past few years, I have seen wildlife attempt to cross the road near the Pikesville reservoir. Specifically, these are families of ducks attempting to cross multiples traffic lanes. I was able to rescue most of them recently, and afterwards I called the Natural Resources Police and was told there is nothing to be done. Is it not possible to put up a barrier to keep wildlife on the reservoir side and off the Beltway?
