Celebrate the Ukrainian Festival at Patterson Park Saturday and Sunday, with Ukrainian entertainment, food, novelty and craft vendors, and a pierogie eating contest.

Description:  Performing dance groups, including the Lyman Ukrainian Dance Ensemble, the Kalena Ukrainian Dancers, violinist Solomia Gorokhinska, a beer garden and children's activities, Ukrainian novelty, craft and food vendors. And there's a pyrohy/pierogie eating contest.

Description:   Celebration of the 198th anniversary of the Battle of Baltimore and bombardment of Fort McHenry.  Planned events include parades, fireworks, re-enactor encampments, patriotic music, even a mock naval bombardment.

Highlights include the crab soup cook-off and a fishing challenge.
