Graffiti With Swastikas Under Investigation Near Lochearn: Police

Police have asked anyone with surveillance or other information to come forward after a rash of bias-related graffiti.

GWYNN OAK, MD — More than a dozen vehicles and a house were among the places vandalized in the Gwynn Oak area overnight in a rash of graffiti that the Baltimore County Police Department says it is investigating as bias-related. The crimes included spray-painting swastikas and obscenities on property.

The vandalism took place in the 3700 block of Sylvan Drive and the 3600 block of Lochearn Drive, officials said.

Police said that black spray-paint was used to write obscene words and leave images of swastikas on cars, the brick front of a home and on another resident's storm door.
