Kids Count Down to the New Year at Noon at Port Discovery Children's Museum
Help us bring 2014 to a close with a Holiday Hoedown at Baltimore's original Noontime New Year celebration for kids!

On Wednesday, December 31st, join Port Discovery Children’s Museum for a Holiday Hoedown at its 16th annual Noontime New Year celebration! Children are invited to come dressed in cowboy attire or their favorite costume and make numbers and shakers for a big countdown at noon with Eric Energy and Curious George, complete with a juice and cookie toast.
The countdown will be accompanied by an afternoon filled with exciting programs and performances including:
• Noon Countdown: 11:45am – 12:10pm
• Number Decorating and Noisemakers: 10am – 11:30am
• Hoe Down Dance Party: 10:30am – 12:30pm
• Juice and Cookies: 12pm – 12:30pm
• Ask a Farmer: 10am – 3pm
• Meet a Horse Veterinarian: 10am – 3pm
• Pigs in a Pen: 10am – 11am & 1:30pm – 3:30pm
• Beanbag Boot Toss: 10am - 11:30am & 12:30pm – 2pm
• Wild Life Adventures: 11am – 2pm
• Old McDonald Story Time: 11am, 3pm & 4pm
• Mr. Gabe Music Show: 1pm & 2pm
• Eric Energy – Science of Weather: 1:30pm & 2:30pm
• Hippity Hop Barrel Obstacle Course: 2:30pm – 4:30pm
• DIY Flower Pot: 10am – 5pm

Guests will also get a chance to test different prototypes for a new agricultural exhibit currently being designed by Port Discovery. The new exhibit is scheduled to open fall 2015.
Noontime New Year programs will run from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. and are free with museum admission. Museum admission is $14.50 for guests ages 2 and up. Children under 2 and members are free.
