Man Shot in Pikesville Hotel Room

The victim in a shooting at a Pikesville hotel is expected to survive, according to Baltimore County Police.

At 2 p.m. Wednesday, officers responded to the Ramada Inn in the 1700 block of Reisterstown Road after the victim had arrived at a local hospital with a gunshot wound to the lower body.

The victim was reportedly in a room at the hotel with a friend who was expected to meet someone else at the hotel. When that other person arrived, he allegedly shot the victim and fled the scene.

This incident is under investigation by the Baltimore County Police Department Violent Crimes Unit.
