National Health Award Presented to Local Hadassah Chapter, LifeBridge Health and the JCC

The Every Beat Counts program shares life saving tips with women about heart disease.

Hadassah Greater Baltimore recently received the 2016 Health & Wellness (Over 2000 Members) Award. The PRAZE Division of Hadassah presented this national award for the Every Beat Counts program, a joint effort among the local Hadassah chapter, LifeBridge Health and the Jewish Community Center (JCC).

The program was created to raise awareness among women about their risks for heart disease and how it can be prevented. Heart disease is the number one killer of both women and men. Every Beat Counts is a series of events with expert speakers and innovative programs designed to have participants interacting with the professionals and each other.

The 2016 Health & Wellness Award was presented at the end of July in Atlanta at the 2016 Hadassah National Convention. Representatives of Hadassah Greater Baltimore, LifeBridge Health and the JCC were on hand for the recognition.
