New Subway Store Likely to Open in September

Pikesville's , located at Woodholme Square shopping center, could open by September, a spokesman for the corporation said.

"I would be guessing in September—as a rough estimate," said Rob Wilson, public relations coordinator for Subway World Headquarters in Milford, CT.

Wilson based his estimate on how long it usually takes to open stores, and the fact that the equipment for the eatery has already been ordered.

He said he did not have information about the store's owner or a definite opening date, and referred those questions to Subway's development office.

The new store is located at 1866 Reisterstown Road, Suite 108, the location of a former pizza restaurant.

Subway has 35,000 stores located in 98 countries, Wilson said.

"Each is privately owned—a Mom & Pop shop—working under a very powerful brand," he said.
