Old Court Middle Evacuated, Baltimore County Fire Investigating

PIKESVILLE, MD — A school was evacuated in Pikesville Friday morning due to an odor of gas, according to the Baltimore County Fire Department. The smell was detected near the gym at Old Court Middle School, officials said.

Crews were dispatched at 10:03 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 18, to the school in the 4600 block of Old Court Road, according to authorities.

As of 10:20 a.m., officials said crews were on scene investigating, and everyone had been cleared out of the school as a precaution.

No injuries were reported, according to fire officials.
