WVIE (AM-1370), the sister station of WCBM, reportedly is changing formats today to more of a news talk style, getting rid of its sports.
The Baltimore Sun reported late last week that WVIE is shifting to a "12-hours-a-day, Monday-through-Friday programming from America's Radio News, a news service that is carried on more than 100 stations nationally."
As of Monday morning, there was no change on the station's website.
