Mike Gemmell, store manager, said he's been on the job at the Pikesville store for about two weeks.

He said the farmers market has been moved for "corporate reasons."

"It's the liability," he said. "And we really don't have the space for it. It took up one-third of the parking lot."

Normington said she is working to get a permanent location for the market, held from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., each Tuesday through October 25.

The market features cut flowers and potted flowers from Radebaugh Greenhouses in Towson, as well as vegetables and other products from McLeafs Orchard in Biglersville, PA, among others.
