Pikesville Precinct Crime: Burglars Enter Driveways, Back Yard, Balcony

The following information is from the Baltimore County Police Department. Charges do not indicate a conviction.

Mt. Vernon Ave. 6600 block. Sometime between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m. June 2. A resident set his lawnmower on his driveway to have repairs made. But the mechanic called resident to say that the mower was not there when he came to get it.

Yennar Lane. 3600 block. Between 9 p.m. May 30 and 5 p.m. May 31. A burglar stole a mountain bike from the second story balcony of an apartment.

Kings Crown Road. 8200 block. Between 8 a.m. May 24 and 3 p.m. May 24. A burglar pried open the front door with an unknown tool and stole four TVs, a laptop computer and a video gaming system from a home. One room on the second floor was ransacked.

Pikesville

Plymouth Road. 7100 block. Between 7 p.m. May 26 and 8 a.m. May 27. A burglar stole two scooters and a bicycle from a back yard.

Trotwood Court. 6500 block. Between 6 p.m. May 24 and 10 p.m. May 25. A cell phone charger, GPS charger and briefcase containing court documents was stolen from a resident's vehicle parked in the driveway. It's not known how the burglar got into the vehicle.

Long Meadow Road. 7900 block. Between 6:40 p.m. May 24 and 8 a.m. May 25. A burglar stole the front registration plate off of a vehicle while it was parked in front of a home.

Bedford Avenue. 1400 block. Between 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. May 21. A burglar came into a home and stole cash.
