Tire Slashing Suspect Charged, Thanks to Public: Police
Police say teen was charged in slashing tires at Baltimore County apartment complex after tips poured in from public.

A 13-year-old boy has been charged as a juvenile in connection with a number of tire slashings in Baltimore County, police say.
The Baltimore County Police Department reported that tips from the public led to the identification of the boy, after surveillance photos of the suspect from two different cameras circulated through the media this week.

Police allege the boy slashed tires on at least 41 vehicles at Twin Ridge Apartments in the 1900 block of Rambling Ridge Lane between 4 and 6 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 17.
He is also accused of cutting fabric on some of the seats at Pizza Blitz in the 2600 block of Quarry Lake Drive.

“The Baltimore County Police Department extends its thanks to the many citizens who provided information on this case,” police said. “Without the assistance of the public and the media, we would not have been able to identify the suspect.”
Police said after he was charged, the teen was released to the custody of his parents.
