Traffic Alert for Orioles Home Opener

With the Baltimore Orioles home opener on tap Friday afternoon, thousands will be heading downtown for the ball game—and the Maryland Transportation Authority has offered some travel tips.
For those hitting the 3:05 p.m. game against the Blue Jays, the authority advises taking public transportation to Camden Yards.
On Interstate 95 and I-395, drivers should expect delays, according to the Maryland Transportation Authority.

Also, there is major roadwork underway south of the Fort McHenry Tunnel, where lanes have shifted between Russell Street and Key Highway and the speed limit is 50 mph.
From points north of the tunnel, drivers must stay to the right after the toll plaza to access the exits for I-395, Key Highway and MD 295.

The transportation authority said to expect delays on southbound I-395 leaving Baltimore City; as an alternate route, drivers should use Key Highway to get to I-95 north.
