Vehicle Explosion Reported in Pikesville

One person was flown to shock trauma after incident on Old Court Road that involved explosion, vehicle fires, public safety officials said.

PIKESVILLE, MD – One person was injured in a vehicle explosion in Pikesville Monday morning, Baltimore County public safety officials say.

At 8:20 a.m., authorities reported that three vehicles were on fire and one exploded in the 4300 block of Old Court Road.

Officials said one person was flown to shock trauma, and the Office of the State Fire Marshal was investigating the cause.
