1. 21-Year-Old Man Wanted in Connection With Seven Locks Road Homicide Arrested (mocoshow.com) — Police have arrested a 21-year-old Gaithersburg man in connection with the fatal September 13 shooting outside Quincy's Potomac on Seven Locks Road, a spot many local residents know well. Detectives say the confrontation began inside the restaurant and continued nearby, where the victim was shot and later died despite lifesaving efforts at the scene.
   

2. The Future of Orthodoxy in America Is Here! Join Us! (ocl.org) — An Orthodox Christian Laity conference on the future of Orthodoxy in America is coming to St. Andrew's Romanian Orthodox Church on River Road in Potomac on November 7, 2026, with in-person and Zoom options. 3.
