Who Am I, and Why Am I Doing This?
Sarah Wayland lives in Riverdale Park with her husband, Alan Thompson, and two kids. Wayland's a member of the Special Education Citizens' Advisory Committee for Prince George's County (SECAC-PG).
I've got two kids, ages 9 and 13. One goes to a public school, the other goes to a private school. Over the years, I've learned a lot about what makes them tick, and (sometimes more importantly) what doesn't. I've also had to learn a lot about how to work with schools. In this blog, I hope to provide resources for parents that will help them to help their kids.
