Dual Enrollment Program Opens Officially Tuesday
A new program that allows high school students to earn their diploma and associate's degree in health science simultaneously will open Tuesday.

Prince George's County Public Schools students with an interest in the field of health science can now earn their diploma and an associate's degree through Prince George's Community College Academy of Health Sciences simultaneously.
It's the first middle college program in the state of Maryland. Although the first class of 100 students was admitted in June, Tuesday marks the official opening of the program.
It will eventually serve 400 students in grades 9 through 12, as each year a new class is added.
