DJ Flava will spin high-energy beats, there will be food trucks, pony rides, family-friendly activities, exhibits, and a fireworks finale.

Celebrate America's 250th birthday with a vibrant weekend of waterfront activities including a Veterans' Maker's Market, live music from the School of Rock, and boating fun on the Potomac. While there are no fireworks, families can enjoy shopping at Tanger National Harbor, a outdoor screening of Back to the Future, and a Super Hero Summer experience at Gaylord National Resort.

The Takoma&nbsp;Park Independence Day Committee will hold a parade and evening street party on July 4, 2026, that will strictly stay in Takoma Park.Residents can begin gathering for the free event at 9:30 a.m. near the intersection of Grant and Ethan Allen avenues, but the parade won't officially start until 10 a.m. Festivities will run until 12 p.m.But, the parade isn't the only event being held. Organizers will also be hosting an evening street party on Maple Avenue, between Philadelphia and Ritchie avenues. The party runs from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.Anticipate live music, food vendors and a mix of family-friendly activities. The 2026 Laurel Independence Day Celebration will be July 4 at Granville Gude Park starting at 3 p.m. with a parade.
There will be field events, music, food and fun from 3 to 6 p.m. and a variety of vendors at the park from 3 to 9 p.m.&nbsp;
Fireworks will be held starting at approximately 9:15 p.m. Viewers can sit on the field to watch.

The Chesapeake Baysox invites the community to join them for a night of live music, family activities, and a breathtaking fireworks display.&nbsp;Gates open at 5:30 p.m. and young fans are invited onto the field for&nbsp;nearly two&nbsp;hours of play time, including&nbsp;Kids&nbsp;Run the&nbsp;Bases, catch in the outfield, and an inflatable obstacle course. A face painter and balloon artist&nbsp;also&nbsp;will be on hand to add to the festivities. The&nbsp;evening's&nbsp;concert gets underway at approximately 6:30 p.m., featuring live performances by Blues in a Blender and Honey Sol, with the&nbsp;Star-Spangled&nbsp;Banner performed by Bullpen Brass.&nbsp;All&nbsp;of&nbsp;your favorite ballpark concessions will be available throughout the evening. Then, as night falls, the sky above Prince George's Stadium will come alive with a spectacular fireworks display.
