Volunteers Needed for the Azalea Classic

As the town gets ready for the annual , the committee is looking for some volunteers to help with the .

Committee Chair Sarah Elder wrote in an e-mail that the group is looking for people to help with handing out registration packet pick-up from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on April 6, race day registration from 7 a.m to 8:15 a.m., race day volunteers to help with set up, course marshalling and post-race festivities. They are also looking for volunteers to collect food donations for the post-race festivities.

The race will coincide with town's 75th anniversary marking the beginning of a slew of celebrations throughout the year.
