What's In Your Bag?
We ask a shopper what they bought at the market and ask them for their favorite recipes.

A frequent farmers market shopper, Patch caught up with Melissa Courtney, of Hyattsville, to talk about what she bought at the market Thursday and what are her favorite items and recipes.
Courtney said she gets all of her vegetables, eggs and bread from the market, but when they are in season — her favorite items to pick up are peaches and strawberries.
"Usually I'll go home and make a salad," she said, "but when it's peach season, every Thursday I make a peach cobbler."

Her favorite recipe for peach cobbler is one from Cook's Illustrated. However, the CI version is behind a paywall, so we found a CI recipe for cobbler on Epicurious.
Her other favorite recipe is one for strawberry shortcake from her grandmother's Betty Crocker Cookbook from 1945. Not sure if this is the original one, but it seems delicious anyway.

On Thursday, however, Courtney bought some plants, bread, scallions and sausage from the Stachowski Brand Charcuterie stand.
