$10K Reward Offered For Information About ID Fraud Suspect: Police

Police are asking the public's help in identifying a woman who tried to withdrew money from a Rockville bank using a fake drivers license.

ROCKVILLE, MD — Montgomery County Police are asking the public's help in identifying a woman wanted in connection with identification fraud and attempted theft at a Rockville bank last week.

Through their investigation, detectives from MCDP's Financial Crimes Section determined that around 5:45 p.m., on Nov. 24, a woman entered the NASA Federal Credit Union in the 800 block of Rockville Pike and tried to withdraw an undisclosed amount of money using a fake drivers license. The bank denied the request and the woman left the scene, according to police.

On Friday, police released photos of the suspect taken from surveillance footage at the bank. The suspect is described as a woman in there 20s or 30s, with black hair. She was carrying a brown purse and wearing a black mask, white coat, blue jeans, and white shoes.
