15 Rockville Companies On List Of Startups To Watch

ROCKVILLE, MD — Fifteen startups with roots in Rockville are worth keeping an eye on as they respond to some of the nation’s most vexing problems, Inc. magazine said with the release of its 2023 Inc. 5000 list.

The startup companies were ranked by revenue growth from 2019 to 2022. To be considered, they had to have earned at least $100,000 in 2019 and grown that to at least $2 million by the end of 2022. To be considered, the companies must have been up and generating revenue by March 31, 2019.

The Rockville-based health services company grew its revenue by 331 percent over three years and ranked 1,689 nationally on the 2023 Inc. 5000 list.

Earlier in the year, Behavioral Framework grabbed the 52nd spot on the Inc. 5000 Mid-Atlantic Regional List for 2023, placing it among the fastest-growing private companies in the region.

• Axiom Consultants, a government services company based in Rockville, grew by 1,416 percent during the three years and ranked 408 nationally.
• Z Family Law, a legal company based in Rockville, grew by 575 percent during the three years and ranked 1,029 nationally.
• Behavioral Framework, a health services company based in Rockville, grew by 331 percent during the three years and ranked 1,689 nationally.
• Presidential Exteriors, a construction company based in Rockville, grew by 236 percent during the three years and ranked 2,338 nationally.
• Pioneer Power Group, an energy company based in Rockville, grew by 193 percent during the the three years and ranked 2,761 nationally.
• Transparent BPO, a business products and services company based in Rockville, grew by 165 percent during the three years and ranked 3,127 nationally.
• Green Threads, a government services company based in Rockville, grew by 150 percent during the three years and ranked 3,351 nationally.
• Audley Consulting Group, a government services company based in Rockville, grew by 133 percent during the three years and ranked 3,642 nationally.
• BETAH Associates, a government services company based in Rockville, grew by 111 percent during the three years and ranked 4,088 nationally.
• 495 Movers, a travel and hospitality company based in Rockville, grew by 109 percent during the three years and ranked 4,126 nationally.
• SysArc, an IT services company based in Rockville, grew by 109 percent during the three years and ranked 4,142 nationally.
• DogiZone, a consumer products company based in Rockville, grew by 101 percent during the three years and ranked 4,301 nationally.
• fusionSpan, an IT services company based in Rockville, grew by 93 percent during the three years and ranked 4,507 nationally.
• COLUMBIA Technologies, an environmental services company based in Rockville, grew by 90 percent during the three years and ranked 4,583 nationally.
• TISTA Science and Technology, an IT services company based in Rockville, grew by 74 percent during the three years and ranked 4,973 nationally.

The Inc. 5000 companies had combined revenues of $358.2 billion, added nearly 1.2 million jobs and grew at a median rate of 219 percent. The list featured 638 newly founded companies and 3,047 repeat honorees.
