17-Year-Old From Rockville Charged In DC Armed Carjacking: Police
D.C. detectives arrested three teens on Sunday, including one from Rockville, in connection with an armed carjacking in the District.

WASHINGTON, DC — A 17-year-old boy from Rockville, Maryland was arrested along with two 16-year-old boys from Southwest Washington, D.C. in connection with an armed carjacking that occurred in the District on Sunday, according to a police release.
Metropolitan Police Department detectives say that around 9 p.m., on Sunday, the three youths approached the victim, who was sitting in a vehicle in the 1300 block of I Street, Northeast.
One of the three pointed a handgun and demanded the victim's vehicle, according to police. Once the victim complied, the three drove away from the scene but were later apprehended by police. Officers recovered a handgun at the scene of the incident.
