Samir Haleem Jr. and Diego Moreno are accused of burglarizing at least seven Montgomery County homes this month, police said.

GAITHERSBURG, MD — Two men are facing multiple charges after police said they posed as workers before burglarizing multiple Montgomery County homes, according to authorities.
Samir Haleem Jr., 38, of Germantown, and Diego Moreno, 19, of Capitol Heights, were arrested Monday and charged with first-degree burglary and related counts in connection with a series of residential burglaries that occurred this month, Montgomery County police said in a news release.
According to police, Haleem and Moreno posed as workers wearing reflective vests before they forced entry into at least seven homes. The pair then stole property before fleeing, police said.

Authorities said Haleem and Moreno drove a red Toyota Tacoma during the first six burglaries and that three out of the seven homes burglarized were occupied.
Detectives arrested Haleem and Moreno at Tanger Outlets in Prince George's County. The pair were in a stolen 2018 Honda Accord and were in possession of an illegal ghost gun, police said. Detectives later determined the Honda was reported stolen following a residential burglary in Fort Washington.
