2 Sub Shop Burglars Caught On Surveillance Camera: Police

Police need the public's help finding two individuals they say burglarized a Mike & Son's Sub Shop in Rockville.

ROCKVILLE, MD — Police on Tuesday released surveillance footage and photographs of two people suspected of burglarizing a Mike & Son's Sub Shop in Rockville.

Around 6:30 a.m. on Jan. 2, units responded to 5404 Randolph Rd. for the report of a commercial burglary, Montgomery County Police said. Upon further investigation, detectives determined that the suspects forced entry into the store through a back door.

The Montgomery County Police Department published a video — embedded at the bottom of this post — that shows the suspects inside the Mike & Son's Sub Shop. According to authorities, the suspects were inside the store at about 1:40 a.m.

Police said the the pair stole property and fled the area.

Officials are asking anyone who recognizes the suspects or has information regarding this burglary to call the 2nd District Investigative Section at 240-773-6710. To be eligible for a reward, anonymous tipsters can call the county's Crime Solvers at 1-866-411-TIPS (8477) or submit a tip online. A cash reward of up to $10,000 is being offered for information that leads to an arrest or an indictment of the suspects.
