WATCH: 2 Men Steal 30 Guns From Rockville Gun Store In 90 Seconds (Updated)

Two unidentified men stole about 30 guns from a gun store on Randolph Road early Thursday morning, police said.

(Updated at 2:45 p.m.) ROCKVILLE, MD — The Montgomery County Police Department and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives are investigating a burglary that occurred early Thursday morning at the United Gun Shop on Randolph Road in Rockville.

Police said two unknown suspects stole handguns and long guns. At this time, it's believed that they stole approximately 24 handguns and seven long guns in about 90 seconds, police said.

Officers were dispatched to the store at 5465 Randolph Rd. at around 3:50 a.m. after the store's alarm went off, police said. Officers discovered the front door was pried open and glass display cases were smashed, police said.

Police believe two suspects used crowbars to open the front door of the store, smashed the glass display cases with the crowbars and removed guns from display cases and shelves.

Investigators believe the suspects fled in a light colored, four-door sedan, as the car was seen on area video surveillance.

Detectives are working with the store owner to determine exactly how many weapons were stolen, police said.

Police said the suspects were wearing dark clothing, gloves and had their faces covered.

The Montgomery County Police Department, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives and the trade association for the firearms industry, the National Shooting Sports Foundation, have announced a combined reward of up to $10,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible for the theft of firearms from the United Gun Shop.
