$25K In Damage To Rockville Home, Family Displaced Due To Fire
Montgomery County Fire and Rescue personnel responded early Wednesday for the report of a fire with entrapment at a Rockville home.

ROCKVILLE, MD — Montgomery County Fire and Rescue units responded early Wednesday morning to the report of a house fire with entrapment in the 300 block of Cedar Lane near Grandin Avenue in Rockville. No injuries were reported.
"Fortunately, everyone is OK," MCFRS spokesman Peter Piringer said, in a post on social media. "It was a relatively small fire in a one-and-a-half story house with a building addition. The fire was right at the area between the existing house and the new addition."
The occupant who was trapped had some mobility issues, but they were in a section of the house that was away from the fire, according to Piringer. All occupants were evacuated and accounted for.

"They were fine from the get-go," Piringer said. "But, fire investigators are here to determine the cause of the fire that appears to be accidental."
The fire caused an estimated $25,000 in damage and displaced a family, according to Piringer.
