3 People Charged With Setting Multiple Fires Across Montgomery County
Fire inspectors arrested three people recently in connection with a string of home and car fires that occurred between April and June.
ROCKVILLE, MD — Fire investigators recently arrested three people for setting home and car fires at multiple locations between April and June in Montgomery Countywide, according to Twitter post from Peter Piringer, fchief spokesman with the fire & rescue service.
Bill Clinton Gomez was charged with second degree arson for setting fire to a vacant home at 2022 North Horners Lane in Rockville on April 23, according to Piringer.
Gomez and an unnamed juvenile face additional charges, including arson and motor vehicle theft, in connection with a series of car fires that occurred between April and June.

Piringer posted a video on Twitter showing one the cars that investigators say Gomez and the juvenile set on fire. The video from June 21 shows an Infiniti sedan burning on Southdown Lane near Avery Road.
In an unrelated case, fire investigators arrested 31-year-old Anastasia Colucci of no fixed address for intentionally setting fires at 7141 Wisconsin Ave. in Bethesda on June 26, and at 4819 Leland Street in Chevy Chase on June 25, according to Piringer. She was charged with one count of first degree arson and two counts of second degree arson.
