3 Students Arrested For Robbery At Montgomery High School
Three Richard Montgomery High School students were arrested for a Jan. 13 robbery at the Rockville school, according to police.

ROCKVILLE, MD — Three teen students were arrested Thursday in connection with a robbery and assault that took place on Jan. 13, on the campus of Richard Montgomery High School in Rockville, according to a release.
Officers from the Rockville City Police Department responded to RMHS for the report of an assault inside the school and a handgun being displayed off of school grounds.
The incident forced the school to institute a lockdown, so that police could investigate the incident. No weapon was found. The school remained on lockdown for the rest of the day, with the police staying at school through dismissal.

Working with RMHS staff and security from Montgomery County Public Schools, police determined that several students from Gaithersburg High School had entered the Rockville school with the help of RMHS students.
The Gaithersburg students were taken to a bathroom during school hours, according to police. They then were robbed by several RMHS students.

Rockville Police arrested three male students, ages 14 and 15, and charged them with robbery and conspiracy to commit robbery, according to the release. The investigation into the firearm being shown off campus later that same day remains under investigation.
