ROCKVILLE, MD — One lucky player won big last week by purchasing a scratch-off card from the Maryland Lottery at a Rockville convenience store.

Prize: $50,000
Location: 7-Eleven #32997, 799 Hungerford Drive, Rockville
Game: VIP Club

The winning scratch-off card was from the Maryland Lottery's VIP Club game, which has a top prize of $2 million. Players have a 1 in 2.90 chance of winning.

Eight $50,000 prizes have been claimed to date, with one remaining. There is also one $2 million card left to be claimed.

Another lucky player claimed a $15,439.50 prize in Maryland Lottery's Racetrax computer-animated game. The winning ticket was sold on Aug. 19 at the Grove Beer N Wine on 16825 Crabbs Branch Way in Rockville.
