Adoptable Pets Of The Week: Sarge, Eleanor, Brody, Star, Nina

ROCKVILLE, MD —For those looking to adopt a pet, a great place to look for your new family member is at Montgomery County's adoption center. The facility houses dozens of cats, dogs, and other adorable critters. And all of them need a furever home.

Here, we've rounded up a list of five adoptable pets for a series called "Patch's Adoptable Pets of the Week." This week, we're featuring Sarge, Eleanor, Brody, Star, and Nina.

Age: Approx. 5 years old.

Shelter Staff made the following comments about this animal: Sarge LOVES treats and food of all kind, which is probably how he got to be a chunky boy :) He would love a family that will work with him on his manners and that will get him more active to lose some of his extra weight!He is selective about his dog friends so would do best in a home without other dogs, or with a very mellow dog roommate.

He loves to snuggle up with people and is a staff favorite. Brody has allergies (not just to cats) so he requires special food and medications to keep his allergies in check. Brody has been waiting such a long time for a new home. Don't pass this boy up just because he has special needs! It just means this boy is truly extra special!
