MoCo Police Call For Public's Help On 2 Cases

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, MD — Police in the county are putting out a call for the public's help on two cases of destruction of property.

The first incident took place April 23, just before 9:30 p.m., at the Gaithersburg Police Department's station on 16 S. Summit Ave.

Surveillance footage released by the department shows a man wearing a black shirt, blue shorts and black shoes kicking and punching the station's front entrance.

Dan Lane, a spokesperson for the department, told Patch the man damaged the handicap button and an ID card scanner.

The second incident being highlighted by police took place May 2, around 3 a.m. at the Greenwood Elementary School on Gold Mine Road.

The Montgomery County Police Department is looking for three individuals they say were involved in the spray-painting of anti-Semitic graffiti on the side of the school.

All three individuals were seen leaving the area.
