MONTGOMERY COUNTY, MD — After serving residents for decades, popular Chinese restaurant China Taste has permanently closed its doors.

Located at 155 Rollins Ave. in Rockville, the shop operated out of the Rollins Center that sits just off Rockville Pike.

The shop gained a loyal following throughout the years, becoming a staple in the community for its affordable prices and well-portioned dishes.

One local food blogger shared footage from his last visit to the restaurant before the closure.

A decision to close came as shop owners chose to retire instead of renewing their lease for the location, according to the MoCo Show.

The outlet reported that calls made to the restaurant were greeted with a message from the owners thanking customers for their support.
