Montgomery County Leaders, White's Ferry Owner To Announce Deal: Report

A formal announcement on a White's Ferry deal between its owner and Montgomery County officials is expected Friday morning.

POOLESVILLE, MD — Leaders in Montgomery County have reached a deal to acquire the shuttered operations and dock area from the owner of White's Ferry, according to a report.

A formal announcement of the deal is expected Friday morning, WTOP News reported.

The status of the ferry and its operations has been in limbo for nearly a decade after an agreement on property rights failed to be reached.
