FRANCONIA, VA — A Montgomery County man accused of repeatedly peeping through a woman's window in Fairfax County, Virginia, has been arrested, and police are investigating whether there may be additional victims.
Landon Anthony Taylor, 42, was arrested Friday in Rockville and charged with two counts of peeping and one count of stalking, according to Fairfax County police.
The investigation began after officers were called to the 5900 block of Coverdale Way in Franconia around 10:25 p.m. on Aug. 7. A woman told police she saw a man peeping through her window and had experienced a similar incident the previous night.
The man left before officers arrived, but investigators reviewed surveillance video and other evidence and identified Taylor as the suspect, police said.
Taylor was located and arrested in Rockville with assistance from Fairfax County's Warrant Squad, Metro Transit Police and Montgomery County police. He was taken to the Montgomery County Correctional Facility.
Fairfax County detectives are now looking for anyone who may have information about Taylor or believes they may have been a victim of a similar crime involving him.
Anyone with information can call the department's Criminal Investigations Division at 703-256-8035 or submit an anonymous tip through Crime Solvers at 1-866-411-TIPS (8477).
