SpaceX rocket launch lights up skies across the DMV (wjla.com) — Early this morning, Rockville residents could spot a bright SpaceX Falcon 9 plume streaking across the sky as it carried 29 Starlink satellites from Florida into orbit. Viewers around Montgomery County and the wider DMV shared photos and videos of the unusual dawn display, which became visible thanks to ideal timing and weather conditions along the East Coast.
4. Autism Therapy's Latest Labor Challenge — Unionization (bhbusiness.com) — Rockville's Verbal Beginnings autism therapy clinic has RBTs on strike after unionizing, highlighting local concerns over pay, safety equipment, and scheduling. Their walkout, underway since July 20, is being closely watched nationwide as one of the first union efforts among autism therapy staff and could influence how similar clinics operate and treat workers.
