5 People Injured After 3-Vehicle Crash Involving Transit Bus: Police

Police said the crash took place near the intersection of Veirs Mill and Randolph roads.

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, MD — At least five people were hospitalized Friday after a multi-vehicle crash involving a Metrobus, police said.

The Montgomery County Police Department said the crash was reported shortly after 11:15 a.m. near the intersection of Veirs Mill and Randolph roads.

At the scene, officials determined that the crash included two vehicles in addition to the transit bus.

The five injured individuals, police said, were hospitalized for minor injuries.

Investigators have not said whether any passengers were aboard the bus at the time of the crash, or what prompted the collision.

The investigation into the incident remains ongoing.
