• Rockville Community Survey to Be Sent to 3,500 Randomly Selected Households (mocoshow.com) — If your Rockville household gets a postcard this fall, it may be your invitation to complete the city's biennial community survey on quality of life and local services. About 3,500 randomly selected homes will be asked to respond by mail or online, with anonymous feedback helping officials shape future programs and improvements.
   

• MARC Train introducing new service between Montgomery County, Baltimore (wtop.com) — Rockville commuters will soon get a new weekday MARC train option directly linking the city with other Montgomery County stops and Baltimore, starting September 28. The adjusted Brunswick and Camden Line schedules will cut travel times significantly between nearby stations and Baltimore, all without added annual operating costs, giving Rockville residents a faster, more convenient transit alternative.
   

• Mid-Atlantic FCU invests $50,000 to support Montgomery College student success (cuinsight.com) — Montgomery College's Rockville campus recently hosted an event where Mid-Atlantic Federal Credit Union presented a $50,000 contribution to the Montgomery College Foundation. The funding will support scholarships, workforce credentials, and other resources that help local students complete their education and prepare for careers across Montgomery County.
